Memory and reality seem to shift as two commuters wait endlessly for their bus to town. Hours have a habit of slipping away and the timetable somehow never lines up. The 49 is a short play following two strangers, who may or may not be strangers, as they navigate liminal spaces and, of course, ever-present public transport delays.
